I am Lindy Duchesne (she/her), and I am privileged to live and practice in Victoria, British Columbia on the unceded territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən and W̱SÁNEĆ nations also known as the Esquimalt and Songhees Nations. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I graduated with a Master of Art in Counselling Psychology and have been a volunteer counsellor with Citizens’ Counselling Centre since 2018.

My approach to therapy is humanistic deeply rooted in a person-centered foundation which means I recognize you are the expert on your own experiences. Life is beautiful, complicated, and confusing which can get away from us. I am here to help you discover your path to a happier and healthier you. I offer trauma-informed, culturally sensitive therapy that helps you find clarity, strength, and improved self-esteem and confidence. I understand the importance of creating a safe, non-judgemental space for you to explore your feelings, thoughts, relationships, and behaviours.

I am grateful to be an associate of Jude Marleau, who has been my mentor and supervisor in my journey to become a counsellor.
